Samsung and Apple have been running head to head with eachother to be able to make a better, more efficient phone for the public. With Samsungs newest adventure into the monsterous smartphone' Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Apple has returned with another flagship as iPhone 5s was revealed to the public not too long ago. So what is the difference between the two? While there does exist some overlap between the two phones, there is wide range of distinctions that follow. 

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is known for its monstrous size and the ability to have the idea of holding a 'poptart'. Yet, it is much larger than the breakfast pastry. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 measures in at 8.33 mm thick and 151.2 mm long. As the iPhone 5s measures in at 7.6 mm thick and 123.8 mm long. So for the visual  eye, the iPhone 5s is the smaller more compact phone of the two. Now, let's talk design.

 The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a sleek leather bound backing to it with three colors available: pink, black, and white. The leather backing gives the phablet a more dominant sleek tablet look. Then theres the iPhone. The iPhone is known for its cold, metal case as it does come in a variety of colors now, yet  it is still aluminum bound. With the iPhone 5s and Samsung Galaxy Note 3, there is an array of ways that a particular person could customize the phone.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 processor comes equipped with a Snapdragon 800 CPU 2.3GHz quad-core processor and Adreno 330 GPU. This new chip improves the performance boost in the Samsung Note device. Compared to the iPhone 5s, the Galaxy Note 3 is fairly a match in speed. Apple's iPhone 5s has a 64-bit A7 1.3GHz dual-core chip, which is also incredibly fast.

The difference between the latest iPhone and the Galaxy Note 3 in terms of processor is Apple's motion coprocessor. The new M7 coprocessor enables the smartphone's motion sensors, which ties into the use of fitness apps for the exercise enthusiasts.
